In the centre of the village the Social Club provides the focal point for many of the social activities of the village. The Social club is equipped with a social lounge with coffee and reading areas, a large screen TV, Video and DVD where Residents can enjoy watching movies and sporting events together.
A fully equipped kitchen allows for residents to organise dinners for celebrations with other residents as well as family and friends.
A snooker/ pool table, piano and library are also available to ensure that all Residents needs are catered for no matter what your interests or tastes.
Outside the Social Club, residents can enjoy the outside barbeque area complete with bar as well as a bowling green where inter village bowling tournaments as well as weekly games are enjoyed.
The beautiful heated swimming pool and pergola are enjoyed by Residents for most of the year for just a dip or for doing some lap swimming or water exercises.
Attached to the swimming pool is a state of the art gym where Residents can enjoy their daily exercise at the time that is convenient for them.
All these top quality facilities are available to keep you as busy or as relaxed as you choose to be.
A number of undercover outside sitting areas are located throughout the village which provide a lovely spot for Residents to enjoy on their own or with smaller groups of friends or relatives.
Ashlar Glen has a very active Social Committee which is made up of Residents within the village that organise a large range of social activities including bowls tournaments, Easter, Christmas and Birthday celebrations, Card games, BBQ's, Bingo Nights, Happy Hours, Dinner Nights and other activities.
Ashlar Glen is accredited with the Retirement Village Association of Australia.
