The History of Freemasons WA

Freemasons WA has been operating for over 35 years providing quality accommodation and care for Masonic members and their families as well as members of the broader community.
During this time the organisation has grown substantially and now provides a range of accommodation and care options such as Resident Funded Village Units, Independent Living Units and Low and High care for the senior community.
We strive to constantly improve and upgrade our accommodation and services to ensure that we maintain the highest quality of life for our residents.
In the last decade Freemasons WA has seen a large shift in the consumers expectations and demand for aged care and retirement village accommodation.
Village community facilities such as lounge areas, service facilities such as doctors rooms and hair care facilities, bowling greens, swimming pools and BBQ areas are now the norm for a Retirement Village complex.
In 1998 Freemasons WA conducted a major strategic review and planning project.
As a result of this Freemasons WA vision emerged as a provider of affordable retirement lifestyle for everyone, not just Freemasons, while retaining a strong commitment of compassion towards less fortunate people. This vision also included providing quality accommodation for people of retirement age in a variety of styles to meet a broad range of needs, including the necessitous and to provide support services where practical to ensure a quality of life for all our Residents.
